Air Technologies® helped Holley Performance Products, a Kentucky performance fuel systems manufacturer, updated its compressed air system with a more efficient solution that is projected to save the company $20,000 in annual energy savings.
Holley Performance Products was experiencing frequent maintenance issues with its older air compressor system, including recurrent breakdowns and poor air quality, among other problems. Concerned with quality control, efficiency and high electrical consumption, Holley sought Air Technologies® for the best air solutions in the industry.
Air Technologies® experts worked with Holley Performance Products to identify the core issues of the manufacturer’s compressed air problems. Air Technologies® technicians then installed a completely new air system: two new 200 HP air compressors and one 200 HP air compressor using Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology. These highly-efficient and reliable air compressors have reduced energy costs and increased uptime. Three new refrigerated air dryers with air filtration have eliminated moisture from the compressed air system, improving the air quality and reducing the risk of damage to the air system and end product. Air Technologies® also installed aluminum air piping, which has helped lower energy costs by reducing system pressure drops and eliminating leakage.
This new compressed air system is projected to save Holley Performance Products $20,000 annually in energy savings.
