Air Technologies® helps auto parts supplier earn a $122,187 energy rebate

DirectAIR from Air Technologies

Dana Holding Corp. was granted a $122,187 energy rebate as part of AEP Indiana Michigan Power‘s Consumer and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program. The energy rebate is a direct result of Dana’s installation of the DirectAIR® solution from Air Technologies®.

Dana was operating an inefficient compressed air system but did not want the high capital expense associated with new compressed air equipment. It reached out to Air Technologies® for a solution.

Air Technologies® engineers assessed the situation and recommended installing a DirectAIR® facility, which provides continuous compressed air as a utility, eliminating capital costs. Air Technologies® owns, operates and maintains the facility and supplies a steady stream of high quality compressed air. Typical DirectAIR® energy savings range between 25 to 50 percent.

After Air Technologies® installed the facility at Dana’s site, the manufacturer was able to focus on its core business, reduce operating costs with no capital expense and save 1,851,498 kWh. As a result of its energy efficiency efforts, Dana earned a $122,187.87 energy rebate through AEP Indiana Michigan Power’s Consumer and Industrial Energy Efficiency Program.
