AEP Indiana Michigan Power names Air Technologies® Top Performing Registered Service Provider
AEP Indiana Michigan Power honored Air Technologies®, an award-winning compressed air and energy-saving solutions provider, with the 2014 Top Performing Registered Service Provider Award, as part of its C&I Energy Efficiency Program. This award recognizes the Air Technologies® Indiana branch as No. 1 in energy savings—in fact, it saved customers a total of 7 million kWh, or $462,000, in 2014.
Sales Engineers Michael Gant and Chad Salyer accepted the award on behalf of Air Technologies®.
Gant attributes the achievement to Air Technologies® utility services—DirectAIR® and ManagAIR®. The DirectAIR® solution offers superior energy efficiency—reducing energy costs by 25-50%. With DirectAIR®, Air Technologies® installs a complete state-of-the-art compressed air facility in its own building at a customer’s site. Air Technologies® owns, operates and maintains the facility for an agreed time period and supplies a steady stream of high quality compressed air.
ManagAIR® hardware and software allows Air Technologies® to be in continuous contact with the DirectAIR® site. ManagAIR® informs Air Technologies® of problem areas before they become critical—a precision maintenance approach that significantly improves reliability.
“AEP Indiana Michigan Power’s C&I Energy Efficiency Program rewards Air Technologies® customers with incentives for purchasing high efficiency equipment and making process improvements that reduce energy consumption and peak demand,” said Robert Benavides, Indiana Regional Sales Manager.
